You can pre-order Grand Theft Auto VI for PlayStation 5 through official PlayStation listings and through retailers that sell the same game. Standard is $79.99. Ultimate is $99.99 digital. Pre-orders opened June 25, 2026. Playable launch is still November 19, 2026. Digital preload starts November 12, 2026 at local midnight. Rockstar has not published an official PS5-plus-game bundle SKU. Sony did announce two limited DualSense controllers. Those pads are a separate $84.99 accessory. PS5 Pro enhancements are not confirmed.

If you want every platform in one place, use the pre-order hub. This page is the PS5 checkout version of that hub: stores, editions, and the bundle claims that keep showing up in search.

Official prices and where the listing should live

Start at rockstargames.com/VI and follow Rockstar’s store path, or open PlayStation Store on the console or the web. Retailers can sell Standard and, where they are allowed to, point you at digital Ultimate. A random key shop is not “official.”

Edition facts sit on Rockstar’s platform editions support article. There is no official Deluxe or Premium SKU, and no official Collector’s Edition. Ultimate extras are digital items on top of the same campaign. They are not an early unlock and not a second map.

Buy before November 20, 2026 and official copy still ties the Vintage Vice City Pack to that window. Digital copies also include one month of GTA+. Do not invent extra cars or outfits beyond the official store list.

Digital, physical, and preload week

Digital Standard and digital Ultimate both preload on November 12. That download is not the game going live. You play on November 19.

Physical is Standard only, code-in-box, no disc. Rockstar’s commercial copy has that physical edition available November 12 so the code can support preload. Ultimate stays digital only. If a shelf tag says “disc,” read the box. A download voucher is not a Blu-ray of Leonida.

Keep the receipt and the account you used. A pre-order is a license reservation. It is not a playable build in June, and it is not a 60 FPS promise.

Bundles and PS5 Pro claims

Retailers sometimes sell a console in the same cart as the game. That is a store bundle, not a Rockstar SKU Leonida Afterhours can list as official. Stock comes and goes. Sony did publish two official DualSense names: Grand Theft Auto VI White Limited Edition and Black Limited Edition. Price, store split, and the September 10 pre-order clock sit on the DualSense news page. Those pads do not include the game and do not create a themed PS5 console SKU.

PS5 Pro does not currently carry a confirmed GTA VI enhancement package. Anyone selling a Pro as the way to lock 60 FPS is selling a hope. Frame rate is not confirmed on base PS5 or Pro.

Last-gen PlayStation 4 is not on the launch list. A PS4 tile that says GTA 6 is a bad listing. See platforms if you are checking hardware before you pay.

What the pre-order actually buys

You are buying the November 19, 2026 console release, not a finished PC port and not a Game Pass seat. Game Pass is not announced. PC is not announced.

If a listing is cheaper than $79.99 in a way that looks like a “free GTA 6” key, stop. The scam guide exists because those pages steal accounts. Official stores and known retailers are the path. The delay hub still shows November 19, 2026, not a 2028 slip.

Compare Standard and Ultimate on the store page, then close the tab. The protagonists, Jason Duval and Lucia Caminos, do not change with the SKU.
