Corrections policy

Good reporting leaves room to be corrected. If a fact is wrong, help us put it right on the same page, with a clear record of the change.

If we get a fact wrong, we fix the page and update the visible Updated date. We do not silently swap a sentence and leave the old timestamp.

Report an error

Send a correction via contact to Zlatko Marjanovic with the URL, the error, and a primary source if you have one.

How we correct it

Material corrections are noted on the page when the change would otherwise surprise a returning reader. Last-verified dates on evergreen pages are human review dates, not rebuild dates.
