This is an unofficial fan countdown. It is not Rockstar Games, Take-Two Interactive, or any platform holder. Nothing here is legal advice. These terms limit what we claim and how we handle data. They do not give us a license to anyone else’s intellectual property.

1. Unofficial — no affiliation

This website is an independent fan project. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, approved by, or connected to Rockstar Games, Take-Two Interactive Software, Inc., PlayStation, Xbox, Microsoft, Sony, or any of their parents, subsidiaries, or licensors.

Grand Theft Auto, GTA, GTA VI, Grand Theft Auto VI, Vice City, Leonida, Rockstar, the Rockstar Games logo, character names, and related names and imagery are trademarks or copyrighted works of their respective owners. We use those names only to identify the video game this countdown is about.

For official information, buy, pre-order, or support the game only through rockstargames.com/VI and authorized retailers. Do not treat this site as a store, support channel, or announcement channel.

Release dates, prices, platforms, preload windows, and features can change. We may be wrong, late, or incomplete. Rely on official Rockstar or Take-Two statements, not on this site, before you spend money or make plans.

2. Intellectual property

Their rights. Screenshots, artwork, the official wordmark/logo, marketing stills, trailer frames, and distinctive GTA type treatments that appear on this site (if any) belong to Rockstar Games / Take-Two and their licensors. We do not claim ownership of them. They are used, if at all, only to identify the game and to comment on publicly announced facts. That use is not a license, endorsement, or transfer of rights.

Our rights. Original layout, countdown code, copy we wrote, and the compilation of public facts on this site are ours, to the extent the law allows. You may link to this site. You may not scrape it to impersonate an official GTA property, or republish our pages as if they were Rockstar’s.

Nominative use. The title “How long until GTA VI?” uses the game’s name to describe the subject of a timer. We are not selling the game and we do not claim to be the publisher.

No challenge waiver. Nothing on this site waives any right of a trademark or copyright owner. If an owner objects, we will treat that as a good-faith notice and remove or change the identified material as set out below.

3. Terms of use

By using this site you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, leave the site.

• The site is provided as is and as available, with no warranty of any kind — including accuracy, uptime, fitness for a purpose, or non-infringement.
• We are not responsible for decisions you make from this countdown (travel, time off, hardware purchases, pre-orders, or anything else).
• Console and performance pages are informational only. They are not professional advice.
• External links (including Rockstar, retailers, and news) are third-party sites. We do not control them.
• Do not use this site to commit fraud, impersonate Rockstar or Take-Two, phish, or mislead others into thinking this is official.
• The “I’m waiting” control is a novelty counter, not a census, petition, or official registry.
• To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, arising from use of the site. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to zero because you pay nothing to use the site.
• These terms are governed by the laws applicable where the operator resides, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Mandatory consumer protections in your country still apply.
• We may update these terms. The “Last updated” date will change. Continued use after an update is acceptance of the new terms.

4. Privacy

We do not run accounts, and we do not sell personal information. We do not have a customer database.

What may be processed

• On your device only: birth date if you type it into Your wait or Age — used in the browser to calculate a number, then discarded. It is not sent to our servers.
• Your choice flags: analytics consent and “I’m waiting” (a yes/no on this device) in local storage.
• Optional analytics (only if you tap Allow analytics): Vercel Web Analytics may process visit data such as page path, approximate location derived from IP, browser/device type, and referrer. Vercel is our host and processor. See Vercel’s privacy policy.
• Hosting logs: like any site, the host may log IP address and request metadata for security and abuse prevention.
• Legal notices you submit through the form below: the contents of your notice, so we can act on it.

What we do not collect. We do not collect email addresses, payment data, names, or account passwords. Notify-me forms are disabled for that reason.

We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context advertising. If your browser sends the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, we treat it as an opt-out of analytics.

Your rights. Depending on where you live (including the EEA/UK and California), you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing, and to object or complain to a supervisory authority. Because we store almost nothing, the practical way to exercise these rights is: clear this site’s data in your browser, choose Essential only in the consent bar, and send a notice below if you submitted a legal form.

Retention. Device flags last until you clear them. Hosting logs follow the host’s retention. Legal notices are kept long enough to handle the request.

Security. No method of transmission is perfectly secure. Do not send sensitive personal data through this site.

International visitors. The site may be hosted in the United States. If you visit from elsewhere, your information may be processed there.

5. Cookies and analytics

We do not use advertising pixels, retargeting, or third-party ad cookies.

• Essential: your consent choice, stored locally so we do not ask every time. The site works without analytics.
• Analytics (opt-in): Vercel Web Analytics, loaded only after you allow it (and not if GPC is present).

6. Children

This site is a general-audience fan timer. It is not directed at children under 13 (or under 16 where that is the digital-consent age). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Do not enter a child’s birth date if you do not want that calculation to happen on the device you are using. If you believe a child submitted a legal notice containing personal information, use the form below and we will delete it.

7. Embeds

The optional countdown embed is provided so other sites can show the same unofficial timer. If you embed it:

• You must not present it as an official Rockstar or Take-Two widget.
• You are responsible for whether your use of the embed is lawful on your property.
• We may change or discontinue the embed without notice.
• The embed includes an unofficial credit back to this site.

8. Notices, complaints, and takedown

We would rather remove something than fight about it. If you are a rights holder, a privacy regulator, or any person who believes material on this site is unlawful, misleading, or should come down, send a notice. We aim to review identified URLs within 48 hours and to remove or alter the specific material where the request is clear and good-faith.

For a copyright notice, include: your name and contact details; the work you own; the exact URL(s) on this site; a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized; and a statement under penalty of perjury that you are the owner or authorized to act. Electronic signature (typing your name) is enough for this intake.

You may also contact the hosting provider (Vercel) if you need a platform-level report. Official game support is only at Rockstar / Take-Two — we cannot reset accounts, refund purchases, or change the game.
