Your information

Privacy policy

A clear explanation of optional email signups, notifications, analytics and the information that stays in your browser.

Last updated . Leonida Afterhours is operated by Zlatko Marjanovic, an independent fan publisher. This page describes the information used to deliver the site and the optional services you can choose.

Your choices

You can read every article, play a quiz, see a result, share it and use the countdown without accepting analytics or advertising. Optional purposes start off. Refusing them does not hide content or require an email address.

Visit the dedicated cookie settings page or use “Quick privacy choices” in the footer at any time to change your decision. We remember site choices for up to 180 days, then ask again. Earlier privacy choices require a fresh decision because Google Analytics has been added as a provider. If persistent storage is blocked, we try session storage for the current tab. If all storage is blocked, your new choice applies only to the current page. Clear existing site data in your browser to remove an earlier saved choice in that situation.

Global Privacy Control automatically keeps optional analytics and advertising off, including when an earlier choice allowed them. The “Do not sell or share” control immediately disables advertising across this site. Google's separate controls are available inside settings when its service is configured and accessible.

Withdrawing a previously active optional purpose normally reloads the page to stop the loaded service. If the browser cannot save the withdrawal, we suppress further analytics events and ad requests on the current page and remove served ad containers without reloading into an older choice. We do not attempt to remove cookies owned by another domain; you can delete those through your browser and change the provider's own privacy choice.

Cookies & browser storage

Browser storage includes cookies and localStorage, which remembers settings on this device. These are different from information you explicitly submit to the site. Essential preferences and features you request work independently of optional advertising and analytics.

  • gtavi_privacy_v3: your analytics and advertising choices, preference version and choice time; valid for up to 180 days, with a sessionStorage fallback if persistent writes fail. It is not an advertising identifier. The old gtavi_consent value is removed when you make a new choice and storage permits it.
  • Quiz result preferences: the latest result identifier is saved on this device. Individual answer choices are scored locally and are not submitted to an advertising service or saved with your email.
  • gtavi_bday: the birthday you enter in the optional “your wait” calculator. It stays in your browser until you change it or clear site data.
  • whengta6-waiting: whether you chose to mark yourself as waiting, until you change it or clear site data.
  • gtavi_push_on and gtavi_push_id: your requested notification preference and subscription identifier, until you unsubscribe or clear site data.
  • The protected publisher dashboard uses an essential, secure sign-in cookie. It is for the publisher's access, not advertising visitors.

You can clear localStorage and cookies in your browser's site-data settings. Google-managed consent records and advertising cookies, when enabled, have provider-specific names and lifetimes described in Google's consent message and policies. We do not set an AdSense cookie ourselves.

Optional visit analytics

Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-EYJQDX22ZJ) measures page visits, sessions and aggregate engagement only after you allow visit analytics. Google receives information such as page URLs and titles, referring sites, browser/device information and network information. Its first-party _ga and _ga_EYJQDX22ZJ cookies distinguish visits for up to 180 days without extending their lifetime on each page load. Withdrawing analytics disables the Google tag and clears these site cookies. Google Signals and advertising personalization are disabled; analytics permission does not grant Google advertising permission. Read how Google uses information from sites and apps.

The Google tag runs on the public production domain only. It excludes private dashboard, API, unsubscribe, quiz-result and embedded-frame pages, sensitive query values and sensitive referrer contexts. Only campaign query parameters are permitted for attribution; fragments are omitted and referrer query values are removed. No birthdays, email addresses, quiz answers or unsubscribe tokens are deliberately sent as analytics events.

Vercel Web Analytics loads only after you allow visit analytics and while Global Privacy Control is off. It counts page visits and provides information such as referring sites, country, device and browser. It uses a privacy-focused, cookie-free measurement system; optional analytics are still off by default on Leonida Afterhours. Read Vercel's analytics privacy explanation.

We strip query strings and fragments from analytics event URLs. Vercel Analytics does not load on private dashboard, API, unsubscribe or query-parameter pages, or immediately after arriving from a private page or a referrer containing query values. This also avoids exposing sensitive values through optional-service request headers. We do not send quiz answers, birthdays, signup email addresses or unsubscribe tokens as analytics events. Hosting access logs are separate from this optional analytics service.

Email list

If you choose to join, we save your email address, the signup source (such as a quiz), and the time and version of your consent in our site's private hosting storage. The list is for occasional official GTA 6 updates and news about new quizzes. We do not sell your address. Signup currently saves your address for future updates; it does not send an automatic email.

Quiz answers are scored in your browser and are not saved with your email. An email is never required to see or share a result. Shared links can include your character match or score so other people can view it. The optional signup form sends only your signup information.

The owner can view, export, contact, or remove readers through a protected dashboard. We keep the signup record until you unsubscribe or request removal. You can remove your address using the unsubscribe link included with a future email, or request removal through our contact page. The unsubscribe page asks you to confirm before deleting your address. Cookie choices do not subscribe you to emails; the signup form has its own consent.

Push notifications

If you opt in to daily alerts, your browser creates a push subscription (endpoint URL and encryption keys). We store that subscription in Vercel Blob so the site can send one countdown notification per day. We do not use it for ads. Unsubscribe anytime via the alerts button or your browser settings. Browser permission is requested only when you choose notifications.

Advertising

Google advertising is currently disabled. No Google advertising or consent-provider script is loaded, and no ad requests are made.

When Google AdSense is enabled, Google and participating advertising providers may collect, share and use information including IP addresses, browser/device information, identifiers, cookies and web beacons for delivering, measuring and protecting ads. Third parties can place and read cookies in your browser. The consent message identifies the providers and purposes applicable to you.

Our integration requests non-personalized ads and excludes quizzes, results, embedded countdowns and private or transactional screens. Google scripts also remain off on private, result and query-parameter URLs and sensitive referrer contexts, even for privacy management. The privacy-policy links in the settings panel and footer omit the referring URL so you can reach these controls safely. Non-personalized ads can still use cookies for frequency limits, aggregate measurement and fraud prevention. They are not a way to bypass a consent decision.

Google's advertising and consent script loads only after you permit the advertising purpose, or explicitly request its privacy controls. Ad requests remain paused until Google's regional consent signals are ready and allow serving. While paused, Google's script can read existing Google cookies but does not create new advertising cookies through paused ad requests. A site preference alone is not Google advertising consent.

For readers in the EEA, UK and Switzerland, the integration uses Google's certified Privacy & messaging consent service with the IAB Transparency and Consent Framework. Advertising stays off if the service is missing, undecided or refused. Applicable US state opt-outs are handled by Google's regional message; this site also suppresses ads when an opt-out or Global Privacy Control is detected. We respect ad blockers and do not ask you to interact with ads to unlock content.

See how Google uses information from sites and apps, Google's advertising and cookie explanation, and My Ad Center to manage personalized advertising on Google services. Other participating providers may offer their own opt-outs in the consent message.

Affiliate links

Some retailer links can include a partner tag. If you buy through those, the retailer may pay Leonida Afterhours a commission. Official Rockstar, PlayStation, and Xbox pages are listed because they are the source of truth.

Opening a retailer, social-sharing link or another external site subjects that visit to the other site's privacy policy. We do not load social-platform tracking pixels merely to display sharing icons.

Hosting, requests & privacy questions

Vercel hosts this site and its private signup and push storage. Hosting/CDN logs may include IP addresses, request paths, browser information and security data needed to deliver and protect the site. They are processed under the hosting provider's policies; optional analytics refusal does not switch off essential hosting logs. Providers may process data in countries other than your own.

To request access, correction or deletion of signup information, raise a privacy concern or ask about providers, contact the publisher. Identify the information or page concerned so we can locate the record. Available privacy rights depend on your jurisdiction; this page does not limit them. Changes to optional purposes require a fresh site choice when the preference version changes.

Why information is processed

Optional analytics, advertising, email updates and browser notifications depend on your separate choices. Essential request delivery, security and the preferences you ask us to remember support operation of the site. Where data-protection law requires a legal basis, we rely on consent for optional services and our legitimate interest in operating and protecting the publication for essential delivery and security. Withdrawal does not affect processing that was lawful before you withdrew.

Making a privacy request

You can ask the publisher about access, correction, erasure, restriction, objection or portability where the applicable law provides those rights. You may also complain to the relevant data-protection authority. We may need limited information to verify a request before disclosing or deleting a record; do not send passwords, full identity documents or sensitive information through a public social post. Ask for a private contact channel first if your request contains personal information. We respond within the period required by applicable law.

Retention & third-party processing

Privacy preferences expire after 180 days; requested browser features remain until you change or clear them; signup records remain until unsubscribe or a removal request; push subscriptions remain until unsubscribe or expiry. Hosting/security logs and backups follow the provider's retention rules, and deletion from active site storage may not immediately remove provider backups. We do not claim to control third-party retention. Where required, providers must use an applicable lawful safeguard for international transfers.

Quizzes, younger readers & changes

Quiz profiles are fictional entertainment, not psychological diagnoses or consequential automated decisions about a person. We do not intentionally collect signup information from children under 13. Do not subscribe if you are below the age needed to give valid consent where you live; a parent or guardian can contact us about a child's submitted information. Material changes to this notice are dated here. New optional purposes require a fresh consent choice before activation.
