What changed this week
Until these listings were checked, WhenGTA6 treated midnight Eastern as a labeled countdown assumption. US and Canadian PlayStation Store timestamps now point to that same instant: 05:00 UTC on November 19, which is midnight Eastern and 9:00 p.m. Pacific on November 18.
The new part is the stagger. If each regional store unlocks at its own midnight, players do not enter Leonida together.
GTAVice published a 15-window table drawn from PlayStation Store pages. GamingBolt, Digital Foundry, and Polygon all reported the same pattern. Polygon also noted it had asked Rockstar for confirmation. As of this page’s last check, there is still no first-party worldwide table.

The New Zealand region trick is not official early access
Search interest jumped on a familiar idea: change region, play sooner.
PlayStation Network accounts are region-locked. A New Zealand store license is not a setting toggle on your main account. Xbox region changes are easier to talk about, and they are still not a Rockstar early-access program. Microsoft has not published a matching public hour table for GTA 6.
WhenGTA6 will not publish a bypass recipe. If a store later switches to one global unlock, the trick does nothing. If listings hold, New Zealand still only moves the first legal window, not the November 19 calendar date.
Spoilers will not wait for your midnight
A 19-hour head start is enough for opening missions, map shots, and menu screens to hit X, TikTok, YouTube, and Reddit. If you care about a clean first session, treat November 18 as spoiler day even if your store still says November 19.
Preload does not fix that. Digital download still starts November 12. Play still starts on the 19th in your store window. PC is unannounced, so there is no Steam clock to argue about.
