Rockstar lists PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S for GTA 6. A PC release and a Steam storefront have not been announced. The console release date is November 19, 2026; it does not provide a release window for Steam.

No PC SKU means no official Steam page
Rockstar’s VI hub and the platforms and editions article list PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. Those are the announced launch platforms. The PC release guide separates that console announcement from the unanswered PC question.
Steam versus Rockstar Launcher is a later argument. You cannot pick a storefront for a SKU that is not for sale. System requirements are also unpublished for the same reason. Minimum GPU lists, RAM guesses, and “it will need 200 GB” posts are community math. File size is unannounced on every platform, including the consoles that actually have a date.
GTA V arriving on PC years after consoles is history, not a VI calendar. Leonida Afterhours will not turn that history into a promised 2027 or 2028 Steam window.
What console pre-orders mean for PC players
The console editions linked from Rockstar’s GTA VI page do not reserve a Steam license. A console pre-order, physical console box or console preload date should not be presented as a PC product. Check the named platform before buying.
Why fake Steam listings keep appearing
GTA V trained a decade of PC shoppers to type the series name into Steam. Wishlist screenshots spread fast. Some are jokes. Some are phishing. Leonida Afterhours will not link a cracked build, a “free Steam gift,” or a leaked installer. If someone asks you to log in to claim GTA 6 on PC, stop.
A community store page or a news embed is not Rockstar copy. Check whether the publisher repeated the URL on rockstargames.com/VI or take2games.com. Repeat on social media is not confirmation.
Jason Duval and Lucia Caminos are the confirmed leads on the console product. Their names on a fake Steam capsule do not make the capsule official.
What would count as a real Steam announcement
A Rockstar or Take-Two post that names PC, plus a storefront they own or endorse. Until that post exists, platforms stay at two console families. File size, 60 FPS, and PC specs stay unknown.
We will not invent a port window, a Steam Deck badge, or a launcher war just to fill this URL. Wishlist buttons on unofficial pages do not reserve a license. Refund rules on Steam do not apply to a product that is not listed.
If you plan to play on PC, follow the PC release guide for an announcement rather than treating the console date as a Steam launch date.

FAQ
Will GTA 6 be on Steam?
Not announced. There is no official Steam page because there is no announced PC version.
Is there an official GTA 6 Steam pre-order?
No. Official pre-orders are PlayStation, Xbox, the Rockstar store, and retailers for the console SKUs.
Will GTA 6 use Rockstar Launcher instead of Steam?
Unknown. No PC storefront is announced, so launcher talk is guesswork.
Does a Steam search result mean GTA 6 is coming to PC?
No. A placeholder, fake appid, or fan page is not a Rockstar SKU.
When does GTA 6 launch if it is not on Steam?
November 19, 2026 on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
Is a PC version of GTA 6 announced at all?
No. Rockstar has not announced PC, so there is no official Steam listing.
