RDR2 is a useful reference for discussing GTA 6, but a shared studio does not make every system a returning feature. This is fan analysis of design lessons, not an announced transfer of mechanics.

A documented starting point
Rockstar’s RDR2 wildlife article describes roughly 200 species and examples of responses to the environment. That account belongs to RDR2. GTA 6’s people and places material introduces characters and Leonida destinations, not a matching wildlife count or survival-system list.
Three lessons worth looking for
A world should explain itself. Roads, sounds, buildings and ordinary activity can help you understand a place without opening a menu. In a modern city, ask how the street layout guides you. Detailed objects alone do not establish interaction.
Encounters need readable cause and effect. A memorable world responds in ways players can learn. Ask what provoked a reaction and whether a scene continues long enough to show the connection. A consistent rule matters more than the number of animations in a montage.
Travel should create decisions. Traffic, terrain, sightlines and nearby activity can make a journey interesting. A good route is not simply a long route. How GTA 6 uses those elements needs its own evidence.
Do not assume these systems transfer
Animal tracking, a survival inventory, weight changes, a morality meter or a particular interaction menu each need GTA 6 support. An RDR2 feature is a comparison, not a specification for another game.
Technical implementation also cannot be inferred from familiar imagery. A visual resemblance does not disclose a subsystem’s structure, performance cost or rules.
Use RDR2 as a vocabulary for better questions, then assess GTA 6 independently. Our realism guide separates presentation, simulation and player choice.

FAQ
Does GTA 6 use RDR2’s wildlife system?
The sources linked here do not establish that. A shared developer or similar imagery does not prove that a specific system transferred.
What is useful about comparing GTA 6 with RDR2?
Compare how a world communicates places, responds to players and supports encounters; keep design questions separate from unannounced features.
